Bourke

Huge tourist facility in Bourke catering for grey nomads.  Plenty of four wheel drive trucks and caravans passing through town.

This is where I end my dirt riding for a while anyway. 

The town folk have reconstructed the wharf that once serviced the paddle steamers.  Found at couple of photographs of the river when the steamers still did all the heavy lifting.

No action on the river today.
